Men Who Have Sex With Men (MSM) refers to men who have a sexual relationship with other men. Governmental statistics from the Department of Health continue to report rising figures of MSM with HIV / AIDS, of which sexual intercourse was the major infective source.
Therefore, AIDS Concerns founded the MSM Team in 1996. We have restlessly promoted safe sex and regular HIV-testing to the community. Through pre- and post-testing counselling. Not only do people get to find out or update their HIV-statuses, they also receive appropriate information about safe sex practice. Additionally, we reach out towards the local community actively, to bars, sauna and party venues. As a part of the local outreach, we distribute free sexual health supplies (condoms and lubrication), as well as sexual health information leaflets.
